Eubank Jr. remained on track for a major fight later in the year, after a fifth round stoppage win over Wanik Adijan at Newcastle's Utilita Arena on Saturday night.

Froch, a Sky Sports expert believes that Eubank Jr. could have two British competitors as he pursues another career-defining fight.

Froch stated that while the fight between Liam Williams and Froch was a great fight, he needs to move on now.

"We must see him with a big or bigger name.

"Maybe the Billy Joe Saunders Rematch. That fight is very enjoyable to me.

"When people begin to price themselves out of the fight it's when they realize that they might not want it.

"We must see Chris Eubank Jr. with a big-named performer, because the time has come.

Johnny Nelson, who was a Sky Sports team member, stated that Froch had probably hurt him by saying he didn't want to fight. But you never know what it does, it stirs up the pot.

"Either Liam Williams, or Billy Joe, these are fan fights. These are fights fans can get excited about.

"Then, of course, he has to ensure he wins a fight for the world title, whoever that champion is, within 12 months."

Roy Jones Jr, Eubank Jr's trainer, insists that his fighter is ready to take on a higher level of class. He told Sky Sports: "Yes. I know he can handle the big names.

It's something else to see him patiently taking a man out for body shots. It was something I have never seen him do before. It was beautiful for me."

Eubank Jr said to Sky Sports, "Anybody who has a world title, anyone that the fans want me to fight."

"Liam Williams is a guy that keeps coming up. Everyone wants that fight to take place. This is an option.

"You have Saunders running about. He claims he wants me to fight him for PS5m.

"The possibilities are limitless. "All I know is that December will bring big names and world titles.

"It's going be a helluva 12 months."
