Scotland's IBF champion faces Regis Prograis (who holds the WBA super' belt) in Saturday's super-lightweight final at The O2, . Taylor is aiming for the biggest win in his 15-fight unbeaten career.

Froch participated in the unification clash at the same location in 2013 and defeated Dane Mikkel Kessler. A thrilling rematch ensued. Taylor believes Taylor will fuel debate about who is the best fighter on these shores, if he defeats Prograis.

"If he is the only British fighter to have two world titles, then we will be able to recognize him as one of our best world champions." Froch stated that Froch was the only one to have two titles.

It would be a huge win for him and it would give him international recognition. He'll be a great British boxer if he can add the WBA super title to his IBF belt.

"I was very friendly with him during the England squad. We had many good conversations. He was a great kid and a good friend. I had the pleasure of training with him during his amateur career. He is down-to-earth, with no graces or airs.

He loves to fight and enjoys the game of fighting. There are many similarities between him and me.

Taylor will be joined by Ricky Burns, a fellow Scot from Scotland. Taylor should enjoy plenty of support from the Arena's partisans. Froch suggests that a hot atmosphere could help the 'Tartan Tornado" to win in a tough encounter.

Froch stated that Ricky Burns is coming to an end of his career and Josh Taylor is just starting at the world level.

It's a great venue. It's electric, and if you're letting your shots go, the noise is intense. Josh Taylor will be there to help you get to the next level.

"This could make the difference between winning or losing."
