 According to Carl Froch, Floyd Mayweather's fight with Logan Paul, a YouTuber, would be purely an "exhibition" for him. He would not damage his legacy.

According to Viddal Riley (a fighter on Mayweather's promotional staff), Mayweather has been in talks to face Logan Paul.

Froch, a Sky Sports expert believes that Paul isn't interested in a serious bout against him. He thinks he would be more comfortable with a fight against Conor McGregor than he was against Paul.

Froch stated, "It's an income spinner for them both and, for me it's not professional boxing." It's an exhibition but people love it and will tune in to watch it.

"I was there to see the Mayweather-McGregor fight, and I also watched KSI vs Logan Paul. It was very entertaining in spurts.

"I was initially skeptical, but it is important to realize that boxing can be an entertainment business. It wouldn't be boxing, as purists love it. Although it would not be taken seriously, I can appreciate the entertainment aspect of it."

Mayweather faced Tenshin Naukawa, a kickboxer, in an exhibition bout. He also appeared in WWE. Froch insists that he will not suffer any damage to his boxing reputation by facing Paul.

 

Froch stated, "No, he is unbeaten, 50-0, and he’s a legend." "It's Floyd Mayweather, and we all know what we get with his showmanship.

Johnny Nelson, a fellow Sky Sports expert, admits that Mayweather may be lured back into the ring by the lucrative financial rewards.

Nelson stated that Floyd Mayweather would likely make more from this than any other active professional. "I believe he is tapping into a market which is unfamiliar to us but again, we are introducing a new audience to our sport.

"A lot people will want to watch Floyd Mayweather. Although it isn't Floyd Mayweather, I believe there is still a curiosity about Floyd taking boxing to YouTube.

David Haye decided to end his career after his defeat by Tony Bellew in a rematch. He would prefer Mayweather's return for a showcase fight, rather than a fight against a dangerous opponent.

Haye stated that he just thought it was fun and got people talking. "I don’t mind Floyd Mayweather fighting YouTubers. I would not want Mayweather to fight someone young and undefeated. Why? Why?

They are younger and more fresh, so Mayweather might have slowed down. He may lose.

"I remember Roy Jones. He got old and lost to the fighters that he had previously lost to. The same thing happened with Sugar' Shane Mosley. Even against men he didn't consider worthy to spar with him in his prime, he would lose.

"I don't like that. As long as Mayweather is not fighting someone with a chance of winning, I'm okay with it."
